Lacey who is native to Watsonville is a self taught baker. She can remember starting to bake when she was just 7. She fondly remembers the days of making traditional scones in her kitchen in Corralitos, CA where she was raised. Lacey, now following in the footsteps of her family, also had a passion for baking. Lacey’s mother made wedding cakes and her late grandma’s were exquisite bakers as well. She has over 15 years of experience in the food industry. 

     Lacey is extremely passionate about baking, her main focus has always been creating a place in her hometown for the community to enjoy and a space to come together. In 2015, Lacey started Girlie’s Scones and expanded to a brick and mortar location, Corralitos Coffeehouse, in 2017. Although Lacey is the mastermind behind the confections from Craft Bakeshop, her business partner Greg is a critical part of keeping this local business running smoothly.
